The Healthcare Education Industry Partnership is a program of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Since it started in 1998, the Partnership has worked as a collaboration among higher education, the healthcare industry, professional and trade associations, and state agencies to address critical healthcare workforce issues in Minnesota. Location Housed on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato, in the College of Allied Health and Nursing, HEIP works statewide to address the shortage of nurses and allied health professionals and to assure high quality healthcare education in the MnSCU system. Vision To improve the health of Minnesotans through a well-educated and appropriately trained workforce, sufficient to meet the demand of citizens of Minnesota. Mission Working in partnership to provide innovative leadership to guide the education and training of a high quality healthcare workforce in a rapidly changing industry. |
