Peer Networking Group



Community Health Worker Project - Minnesota Community Health Worker Peer Network

A new Community Health Worker Peer Networking group funded by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation has been established through the Minnesota International Health Volunteers to create a forum for Community Health Workers across the state of Minnesota. This network is for CHWs: Individuals that are indigenous to their communities and acts as a link between community members and the health service delivery system. They may have different titles such as Lay Health Worker, Lay Health Advisor, Community Health Advisor, Promotor(a) de Salud, Community Health Representative, etc.
